Kansas "skyline" on K10, time outside, a great backyard, picnics at Potter Lake, finding bugs, watching bull frogs, letting the wind blow in the car while we are driving, watching my kids be imaginative, the preschool teachers at BSF, listening to a dove, watching the birds in our bird bath, Cash's fascination with nature, Ella's love-hate relationship with flip flops, sour patch kids (forgot their goodness), freedom to worship, needing God!

subtle reminders not to complain or be selfish, fun family gatherings, my dear husband who has put up with my bad attitude this weekend, my washer and dryer, a day of rest

slow Saturday mornings, a special day with Ella, seeing Ella dressed up, new shoes, picnic dinners, blue sky, green grass after the rain, God's hand in everything, my unselfish husband

Re-tiling the bathroom, halfway packing up the house, doing the gardens, cleaning and organizing everything in our house - including the basement, getting it officially on the market and feeling really good about it, planning and running a garage sale and making some money . . . . . all in one week, without going crazy.
A husband who is nothing shy of amazing in the way of working hard and being focused and diligent. A son who thinks everything is exciting or funny. Being able to button my skinny jeans (not look good in them, just button them). A gift card to Old Navy. Being able to walk without hurting. A win for KU. I'll be honest this is incredibly hard for me right now. I know I haven't emailed yet but when I was sick I had a bacterial infection which prevented me from going to clinicals and since I missed clinicals I got kicked out of my cna program with one week left. Yep, back to the drawing board, again... so needless to say I'm in a selfish funk but maybe this will be good for me...

2nd chances, generousity of others, busyness, time to sleep in, freedom of choice, new friends, old friends, a paid for place to live.
